Emmett Till, a call for prayer

Please join together for prayer and a moment of silence Friday at noon as a sign of unity between all races. August 28th signals the 65th anniversary of Emmett Till’s murder, because of a rush to judgement, prejudice and mob rule. It is a major event and turning point in the civil rights movement toward racial equality. It is a tragic lesson in reason ruling over emotion. May we learn from history.
